BAUMAN  Two Day Obedience/Training Seminar  September 10 and 11,2022 Exchange Club Fairgrounds,  Thomasville, Georgia  Fee: $235 two days,  $150 one day(Saturday only) All levels of obedience will be covered !  Whether you are trying to put titles on your dog, train for obedience ,agility, barnhunt, tracking, scent work, or basic manners, all dog training involves teaching dogs to make better decisions. Diane’s unique approach to communicating with dogs can be applied in any venue.  Diane shares over 50 years of experience successfully training and competing with many different breeds of dogs in multiple venues. Her philosophy and methods have evolved by listening to the dogs she has worked with.The seminar will be a combination of lecture, demonstration, and audience (dogs)participation.  Among the skills Diane shares:  •How to stop unwanted behavior and encourage good behavior.  How to view training from the dog’s perspective.  How to train for understanding, not patterning.  Learn the art of problem solving and get fresh ideas on old problems.  Special small dog techniques  Common “training myths” versus proven ways of explaining things to dogs with a goal of performance consistency.  Understanding help vs corrections and the appropriate time for each.
