One of the most successful professionals in the field of canine agility and obedience, Diane Bauman uses her talent and innate sensitivity for understanding how dogs think and how people learn. Teaching the handler and dog to THINK is foremost in her teaching skills. Diane has put obedience, agility, tracking, and herding titles on a wide variety of breeds. Her record includes 16 perfect 200 scores earned on 4 different breeds and 4 OTCHs (Golden Retriever, Keeshond, Pekingese, and Pomeranian). Diane is the author of numerous publications, DVDs, training manuals, and books on the topics of obedience, tracking and agility. For more information on Diane, please visit www.dianebauman.com. There are NO working vs. auditing spots. All participants may bring dogs if desired. Seminar format is lecture, demonstration, and some audience participation. There will be opportunities to work with dogs on problem solving and mastering new skills. Dogs will be worked, but not every dog will do every exercise. Problems addressed will be based on participant submitted questionnaires.  WHEN: OCTOBER 26 & 27, 2019 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM WHERE: DES MOINES OBEDIENCE TRAINING CLUB 1423 SW ARMY POST ROAD, DES MOINES, IA COST: $200 FOR BOTH DAYS - DMOTC Members $240 FOR BOTH DAYS - Non Members $100 FOR SATURDAY ONLY* Lunch, snacks and Saturday dinner included  NOTES: On Saturday, after the session, we will host an onsite dinner where we will meet again informally to visit with Diane and continue to discuss training. Registrations will be limited to 50 participants. *We offer the one-day option on Saturday only because Sunday builds on Saturday. If you miss the first act, it is hard to understand second act.
